if you need a mist spray for salads, this device is not for you. it has s a pinpoint stream and a fan shaped stream. it’s far easer than trying to pour a tiny amount into a pan. After two months of daily use and two refills, not one molecule of oil has leaked, dripped, or even appeared outside the sprayer and i haven’t needed to clean anything. it beats pump sprayers that clog such as Misto hands down and it’s far cheaper with better oil than store bought aerosol but i sure could use a mist for the tops of foods in the pan.

I find it an easy way to add oil to the pan, but it does not really spray. It is not a fine mist, or a mist of any kind, so spraying vegetables before roasting is not really possible.The only way you can make it mist is to tip the somewhat empty bottle so the uptake tube is not really submerged. At that point, the oil tends to run out and mists.It is an easy way to dispense into a pan when cooking. It keeps the oil covered and clean whithouthaing to unscrew the cap, and makes dispensing the needed amount easier.A darker glass (green or brown) would be better to keep the oil from light degradation, and a better, finer screen mister is needed to allow it to mist properly.

I bought this mostly for price. The few with very good reviews were to costly for occasional use. It works ok with a short quick squeeze. Perhaps a little more oil than I would like but the quick & fast is the way to go.

I like the sprayers. I only wish the spray was adjustable. It does not adjust to a wider spray/mist which would be helpful.
