I have used these for smoking pork to make pulled pork. They are great for dealing with heat, but on my hands the gloves are. bit of a pain to remove once they get BBQ grease on them. After moving the Pork Shoulder the gloves are so covered in grease that it is a real struggle to get them off.The claws worked great for pulling the pork apart once it was done.I have not had a chance to use the thermometer as the smoker has multiple temp probes in addition to my trusty old Javelin instant-read thermometer.

Gloves are kinda stiff and fit awkwardly. But, they definitely get the job done and you don’t usually use them that long so it doesn’t really matter, but you can’t do much more then move hot food with them. Claws kinda are awkward as well, the grip design could have been done better

These gloves are amazing for the price. I got into smoking meats and slow roasting earlier this year and these gloves became a lifesaver. The bear claws work wonders shredding pork shoulder. The thermometer works well for checking roasts and other meats from the oven.
