If you have done any bakeshop pastry work, you should be familiar with the company Ateco. They make tons of products for pastry chef professionals and amateurs (like me). I use Aetco’s products like their waxed bags, pastry tips and polyvinyl plastic connectors and they’re excellent.Their dipping tool is a great value and easy to use (even my very 1st time) and they’re east clean. It comes with a large and seemingly comprehensive varieties of tool end tips to choose from. They have got you covered!!As a novice, I have only used a few different ones in the set as I am only using them to dip ganaches into tempered chocolate. . But sometimes, I have weird piped ganache centers that require me to choose a different end dip tool and they worked great.–I don’t have any pix of me using the tools “in action” since I am busy managing ganaches and the tempered chocolate.. both time sensitive and temperature critical so I am not taking pictures then. Before pix – tempering the chocolate with an ice bath — dipping tools at the ready :-)After pix – one of 3 sheets of hand made, hand dipped Belgian style dark chocolate truffles

This is the most exciting tool I have purchased for my candy business! Somehow – coincidentally – I stumbled on this as I was looking for a good tool for dipping caramel in chocolate – and this tool is the EXACT size of the caramels I make in my molds. It’s so easy to pop a caramel in the tool, rotate it around in the melted chocolate, and turn them out on to parchment paper. I have purchased three of them so that I can rotate through them when the chocolate starts to cool a bit and begins to stick to the tool. This tool has made coating candy in chocolate quick, easy, and efficient. Game changer!

Daughter and I enjoy making candies but dipping in chocolate kinda not fun. This is nice as it has areas to allow excess chocolate to βdrain awayβ. If you place finished piece upside down on parchment paper you get a fun swirl like boxed candy

This method for dipping cake balls into chocolate is so much easier than toothpicks and less wasteful than spoons. Very pleased!

I have aways used a fork when I did my peanut butter balls. This utensil makes it so much easier and looks better.

The tool spins in your chocolate covered hand. Buy a tool that has a covered handle.
