This cookbook holder serves me very well while I’m taking notes on the computer as I read and also as I’m inputting family recipes into the computer. I have no trouble keeping the pages securely held. In fact, I wish the spring on the lever arms wasn’t quite so tight. Sometimes as I’m moving them into position over the page I’m concerned that they are going to break.The only other complaint I have is that I wish the stand would lower just one or two more notches. Since I’m seated taking notes instead of standing, moving around making a recipe, the angle is a little taller than I would have preferred, but I make do.Like I mentioned, I use it practically every day. I’m glad I purchased it and would definitely buy it again.

This bookstand is big enough to hold a cookbook and has foldout arms that can hold the pages open. It’s also sturdy enough to hold a big novel while I enjoy a nice glass of wine! It can be set to display at multiple angles, so I can adjust it, depending on where I’m sitting and reading. I think this would make a nice gift for an avid reader.

I study literature for about 20 hours a week. This has been a life savor. It has helped me with my posture, and neck ergonomics. It is light weight but very sturdy. Very easy to pack up and I love the little metal arms at the bottom to hold the pages open. I bought this for my husband and friends. Highly recommended.

This book stand is not only a beautiful piece of woodwork, but it is a great stand as well. I love that it has two metal pieces on the bottom that help hold the book open. It works great. I use it for my recipe book.

I like how I can adjust the angle of the book stand to get perfect viewing of my cookbooks from sitting or standing. I should have bought this years ago! I even use it to prop my morning newspaper making it easier to read. This is well designed. The only possible negative is that the page holders are a little tighter than I would prefer them to be.
