I was looking for electric, but I learned I have to be specific. I wanted electric but using USB. This item uses batteries. With that being said It was a easy to add Salt and Pepper and the grinder size was easy to change. All and All it is works perfectly. Again, I wanted to charge using USB and not batteries.

I agonized over which set of salt and peppers chalets to order and boy am I glad I chose these. They look nice and they grind the salt and pepper so smoothly when you press the button. They are wonderful. They even come with little brushes for easy cleaning. Buy them!!

Grinders wouldn’t work even with batteries , the salt shaker worked for about 1 week and completely died out on me won’t even work anymore & the salt shaker never worked to begin with. Worse product ever

I should start by saying, I like this product. It seems reasonably priced, was easy enough to fill, and is easy to adjust what grind level you want. They have a little plastic stand that holds them as well. There are a few things I didn’t like about the grinders, though. For one, they EACH require 4 batteries. That’s a ton of batteries. I feel that for a product like this, a rechargeable battery might be a better option (or even better, a base that plugs in and wirelessly charges the grinders). Also, if you don’t make sure to shake them out a bit after use, they will likely make a mess since they sit opening-down. While others have suggested you can store them upside-down, the instructions explicitly say not to do that because the salt can evidently get into the battery area and cause corrosion (which sounds like a design flaw to me). Overall though, I think this grinder set works fine and is well worth the low price tag; I’m sure you can find better, but you will likely pay a lot more for it.

I am not sure why I was hesitant to buy this, but I finally did and let me tell you this salt/pepper set is wonderful! You can stir your pot and use the other hand to add salt/pepper. There were so many to pick from and prices ranging from $17 all the way up and beyond $60. I choose this set for $22 and it works great!! You will not be disappointed.
