I have been through so many kinds of ice cube trays… Over time, the traditional plastic ones cracked or the silicone ones split – all eventually leaking water. Yes, this one is plastic as well, but I have a lot of faith that this could be the last one that I’ll ever have to buy (I hope).It took some trial and effort into figuring out the ratio of water to make the perfect ice ball. As a gauge, there are 3-ridges on the corners inside the tray where you fill it up with water. I find that if I use the middle line, my balls are totally round. When freezing, try not to prematurely open the tray to see if it worked or else you’ll break some of them apart and not get great results.These ice balls keep my daughter’s thermos for her water super cold and the ice hasn’t completely melted by the time she gets off from school. Not only am I happy with this purchase, but making ice is somewhat fun and satisfying now π

Love this thing! If it breaks, Iβll never buy a regular ice cube tray again. The ice balls take at least 5 hours to freeze, but they look so pretty in drinks! I got compliments on them yesterday. The container is comes with, holds about 4 trays of ice balls, total. Definitely saves you time going to the store. Love it!

It makes ice, round ice, just like it’s supposed to. Easy to use, just put the top part on with a dishtowel covering as you press down or you’ll be wiping up water.

Very easy to use and clean, as well as making large quantities of ice in one sitting. My only qualm is the if you make large amounts and store them in the bin, they tend to all freeze to each other from time to time, causing you to have to break a large ice block to get everything back out.
