I deducted a star because this spinner is smaller than others I have had and I prefer then larger size. However, it spins well and does dry the lettuce well so i do like it.

Needed a new salad spinner and this one is perfect! You can see the water drained in the clear acrylic bowl. It’s very easy to use, you just need to place your hand on top of the lid while turning the spinner. I was holding it lightly one time and the greens just flew! So be careful and make sure it stays in place. There are holes on the lid and that’s how the salad dries very quickly as you spin the handle. My only issue with this is the lock/closure because it doesn’t latch completely. The lid can be lifted even with the lock in place.

Wow, Got this spinner just in time. My old salad spinner broke. I can not do without a spinner. We eat salad daily. My last one was made of heavy plastic and had parts that I needed to keep together which I hated but it worked very well before it broke. Now I have Bino/Salad 4.2 Quart Spinner with a Secure Lid Lock and Draining system for Fruit and Vegetable Colander. Just pull out the colander and wash fruit or veggies. Then place in bowl, lock, and spin away. The bowl is made, and once you are done the veggies can not sit in the water. There is room between the colander and the bottom of the bowl for the fruit or veggies not to get wet again. Wow did not think of it as a hand washer for clothes. If I did that I would have to get a second one. That would be perfect if you are in a hotel and need a couple of things cleaned. Wow.Also, I would not add meat to it. If I did that I would get a separate one for contamination to the veggies even if washed. I am just using mine for the veggies.

takes a little effort to get it to engage, but it does engage and it spins really well. I like that you can pour the water using the strainer holes on the lid. the latches on top do hold the lid on, but it isn’t a super tight lock on, but it does the job.

I wanted to get something a little bigger than our previous salad spinner because we like to cut up enough greens to last for 2-3 days, and it was a really tight squeeze to even get two days worth in the old one. I grabbed this hoping it would be large but not really sure how that would translate, and I am not disappointed! I haven’t even come close to cutting enough lettuce at one time to fill this entire thing up, and it may be a while before I do.The design is okay, the actual bucket that everything sits in is a bit on the flimsy side, but it works well enough. Also, the lid is a little finicky to get locked into place just right on the bowl, but it is doable. The spinning mechanism is the gray piece on top that you hold and spin around with your hand, which I don’t find quite as nice to use as the kind where you pump something up and down or pull the cord to make it spin, but it works well enough and you can get it spinning pretty fast!I think it’s hilarious to think of someone using this to wash their clothes in….but I am guessing someone has done it and it was probably successful, so who am I to judge. We won’t be using ours for laundry though. The whole thing is well packaged and feels ‘nice’ when you get it. Little details like the lid being taped on with tape that easily comes off and leaves no residue is a nice touch which is appreciated. Overall very happy with this and I expect to get lots of use out of it.

This is the first salad spinner that I have owed but it is wonderful. Easy to put together, fits another for one, and the drain holes at the top are a nice bonus. My only complaint is that it is a bit loud if you are a fast spinner but stops quickly and seems like strong plastic. I look forward to using it during the upcoming holiday season

Gone are the days of tamping water out of the lettuce. I’ve been doing that for years like a chump. I must have wasted so many paper towels and napkins.3 parts, bowl, spinning sieve and the top crank lid. The results are great. I spun so much water off of the lettuce. It was dryer than when I hand pressed it (and in better condition afterwards because I didn’t smash it down like a brute). The only issue is that it’s a little touchy to get started because the bowl wants to spin when you move the crank. After it gets going though you are off to the races. It’s a minor complaint given how well it works.

It works well! Definitely hand wash and donβt leave it stacked in the sink or the basket will warp!
