   I got rid of my 10″ wooden pepper grinder – it was just too big. I like this new small one – it grinds very finely, and the pepper is VERY strong – I’d forgotten how pungent fresh ground pepper can be. Nice.

   Never owned a grinder before but wanted one for my Maldon smoked salt to break it down into smaller pieces. This grinder makes it absoutely effortless! It turned so easily and smoothly at first I thought there was no salt coming through. Wrong. It works like a charm. The little plastic top doesn’t seem too durable but I will try to be careful with it. Highly recommend this grinder. Thinking about getting one for all my kids.

   Product feels extremely cheep. The salt/pepper that comes in the grinders in the grocery store are so much better quality. The stainless steel part is so thin I feel like I could break it if I squeeze the top with very little force. Also the grinding ability of this is horrible. I wish I realized how cheaply made this was before I added salt to this, so I could’ve returned it.

   I probably should have read the description a little closer as it’s much larger than I had anticipated, but that’s a good thing! It’s not some puny grinder! Grinds like a champ!

   I like it enough to keep buying when it breaks but it has a short life. The grinding mechanism is fastened to the outside with three plastic structs which break fairly soon.

   Great small grinder, I use this for pepper. It is very easy to change the coarseness, although the finest setting is not as fine as if you purchased ground pepper. When I received this I took the entire thing apart to thoroughly clean it (probably unnecessarily) and it was simple to reassemble. Looks very nice out on display too, I unfortunately promtly lost the cap so mine stays in a cabinet
