You Gotta get the job done –
This machine makes it so easy to grate soft or hard cheeses that you want to be of a large size. If you want a fine grated parmesan cheese, this is not the machine for you. I make a lot of recipes that need a large size grated cheese, like you would put on pizza. However, I did buy the machine to use for hard cheeses like Pecorinno Romano or Parmesan Reggiano and this machine does not have an attachment that does that. As the attachments are so versatile and the machine is so easy to use, I kept it and would definitely recommend it. It does stay put on the counter, but it feels like it will let go if really pushed hard.

So far this grater is what I was looking for. I have an old model from the 80’s that still works. This new one is mostly plastic except for the cutting surfaces. It stays put on my granite counter. Moisten it a tad and it’s there for life. All blades cut well. Very happy. Body of the grater is a soft plastic which will scratch easily if not careful. No scratchy scrubbers. Dry with soft towel. Cleaning the shredding blades could use a small brush. I practiced with a carrot and the orange color stayed on my plastic parts of the grinding head. A short soak in a little Clorox water cleaned them back to white. Turning handle is plastic. Felt solid but be respectful of plastic. Wouldn’t want to try a meat product through it. I gave it a 4 for easy to clean because of the food getting stuck in the shredding blade.

Had a big garden this year and processed tons of zucchini using this. Suctions well and comes apart easily for cleaning!

I wanted to grate carrots and other vegetables like you do with the hand graters, where they come out in little pieces.First, the suction doesn’t really work. It takes some effort to move the dial to have the suction work, so I know I did that right. But it kept coming up from the table anyway.Plus, it only had one size for grating and it was more like thin long slices. Just not at all what I wanted.I gave it three stars because it does slice well. But I don’t recommend this if you want small thin grated carrots.

Besides being a great product I want to mention their customer service. I had a piece of plastice come off the body of the shredder. I was out of Amazon warranty and way past the companies warranty. I explained my problem. They went ahead and shipped me parts from an old return at no cost. Looks like the body style has changed an I won’t have to worry about the piece that came off. It was SO nice to have this kind of response Thank you again and it is a great product
