There’s no way to cover the hole in the salad lid for refrigeration (I had to cover the hole with plastic wrap, how silly). It would have made so much more sense if the little green lid for the chopper also fit the salad bowl hole or better yet, include a hole cover so you can cover both containers. As my mom would say, “Hello!”Putting the salad bowl in the fridge with a tall spinner pump aparatus sticking out of the lid (the only provided way to completely close the bowl) is not a realistic option for most normal sized refrigerators.Next, there’s no brake to stop the spinner. This might not seem like a big deal until you’re hurrying to get dinner on the table. Who wants to stand there waiting for the spinner to eventually slow down so you can open it without salad and water flying out? Omitting a simple brake was a bad choice in the design process.It’s also tricky to get the various components to connect properly in order to engage the spinner pump. The design is just obtuse. I’ll be returning it.
