They are cheap because… they are cheap. They wobble a little bit. If you squeeze hard, the handles start to overlap onto each other. But at $2 per pair, it’s really unreasonable to complain. They are sharp enough to do what they are advertised for though it seems a miracle that they actually work. Most likely they will break after a handful of uses.

My family and I went to Puget Sound to go out on my father in laws boat for crabbing. We all sat on the beach eating the 40+ crabs we caught that day and I struggled with pliers to crack (smash) the crab shells. I wished that I had scissors. While over there we went to the Crazy Cajun and had crab boil and they gave us these awesome little scissors to use. LOVED THEM! Wished that I had them with me on the beach. So I went home and bought them for our next trip over. Easy Peasy access to crab meat.

These crackers were SO easy to use. The plastic part of the handle cracked crab leg shell better than the restaurant tool. The metal part of the handle would actually snip off the joint! The scissors worked great even though they were not sharp. Ijust cut down each side of the leg and laid it open to expose ALL the meat. Great forfolks who have hand issues.
