I got this spatula for eggs and it works well for that. Specifically, it is thin enough to get under the egg, even more so after I spent 30 seconds with a belt sander to “sharpen” the front edge a bit. It is also narrow enough to reach inside your egg rings to remove any bits of egg, if you use egg rings. I expect it would be great for small or medium pancakes too. Some people like to mash down on their burgers during frying, and I doubt this spatula is sturdy enough for that. Besides, mashing down makes the burgers less juicy. The spatula’s smooth surface means food doesn’t stick to it if you are using a bit of oil or butter, and it comes clean in the dishwasher. It’s also good looking, if that matters to you.

The only reason for the 3 stars on “easy to clean” is because the back side of the “shaft” of the spatula is difficult to get into to scrub. Otherwise it’s exactly what you’d expect from a spatula.

Arrived fast, as described, stainless steel egg turner, pancake flipper, burger turner, spatula whatever you call it, its a good one. So so easy to clean. I plan on using this every weekend. I was thrilled with the ease of cleaning. Nothing but melted butter was left on it to clean, I did so with a dab of Dawn and water. We are Happy with it. Thanks for having this available for sale Amazon!!!

I can’t believe the price for this stainless steel spatula. It really lifts from underneath cookies

There are a few sharp edges on the steel portion of the handle and on the leading edge of the turner. I made the edge smoother to prevent the possibility of razor like cuts when washing the utensil..

I’d rate this as 5 stars and a great choice. No issues, works well, takes a decent beating flipping on my grill/griddle. Several months so far with no issues at all.My only small gripe is that it is not “heavy duty” but more mid-duty. It’s decent enough, but it’s also clearly stamped metal and about half as thick as the high-end ones you find at Sur Le Table and so on. So if you want to save money and get the job done at home, this is fine. I’d not use it professionally, though.
