Scale itself is 4 or 5 stars, my 2 star review is due to inaccurate product description that caused me to purchase the wrong item. I thought I was purchasing the rechargeable scale. The scale came today, and when I opened it I saw there was no charging cord, then when I looked more closely at the scale I noticed there is nowhere to plug a cord in. So, 1st thought is, they sent the wrong item. I went back to the product page and right at the top the description says “rechargeable”. But apparently when you choose the scale without the bowl, you have to click on “see more product details” and buried in all the text is a note saying “this model cannot charge”. Apparently you have to get the bowl model for a rechargeable unit. I am so tired of these inaccurate product descriptions! The scale itself seems fine, and I’m going to keep it because it’s a bother to return, and the style meets my needs, but boy am I disappointed.

Nothing really wrong with it at all, turning it on is deceptively easy I had to read the instructions. TL;DR just go to use it and it turns on when you put some weight on it. I wish the USB-C port charged with my USB-PD chargers, finding a slow charger is kind of a pain.

Thus Cale works great with lots of options for measurement. The surface area is a good size without taking up a lot of counter space. I can put a dinner plate on it and still read it looking underneath. The numbers are not covered which is perfect. It does still read fine as far as I can tell with the dinner p,ate off center too. I like this product. It will get a lot of use.
