I’m pleased with the salt and pepper grinders. Pleased indeed! There is one small discrepancy; there should be tops or covers at the bottom, for each grinder. It keeps moisture out of the containers, specifically the salt grinder. ( Rust can set in rendering the salt rocks difficult to grind and the precision grinder useless.) I’m using a small dessert plate for this purpose. I saw Amazon has a tray, but clip on covers are better. I may order the tray later.Overall, I like the product!

Pros:Good quality for the price, sized to be functional yet unobtrusive, finely grinds pepper & easy to use, clean & refillCONS:Does not finely grind salt, requires a tray or grinder caps but does not come with either, a matching tray or caps are not available to purchase separately (I did purchase an acrylic tray from another manufacturer off of Amazon)If this set included a matching tray or caps as well as finely grinded salt, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this as a house warming gift.

We had a matching set β pepper grinder and salt shaker β that looked almost identical to this one. My husband dropped and broke the grinder, so he ordered this one to replace it. It is well made, attractive, works fine and was a good price. My only complaint is that I prefer the way our old grinder βcrackedβ the pepper in pieces β larger or smaller pieces depending on how tightly the top was screwed on. The new one literally grinds it into a powder.

I read a lot of reviews on pepper grinders, as in WAY more than youβd think would be necessary. This grinder works well, producing a nice, fairly coarse grind. It works with the extra-large peppercorns from Costco, which apparently was an issue with another grinder.

I assume this grinder and my Stargazer cast iron pan will both be making meals delicious centuries from today. Thank you for the great grinder.

The Large cover photo of the pepper grinder is misleading. It is shown full of peppercorns. What you will receive is far less. The subsequent smaller photos are more accurate. What you receive is a minimal amount. The grinder body is 100%acrylic. No noticeable metal. It looks inexpensive and it is. but functions well. It’s a $15 grinder.

I bought this to replace a similar grinder that I had for several years. This one feels flimsy and the grinding action is awkward. I feel like the top part of the grinder and the bottom part are not well connected and it’s just unpleasant to use this because it feels like I’m grinding the plastic parts more than the pepper. I’m going to replace it as soon as I find something else in a similar style and this one’s just going to go into the trash. It does work but I’m not really liking the grind quality at all. I’m very disappointed with it.
