I was looking for something to spare my countertop from the mess of cracking eggs on it and this fits the bill perfectly. It’s not going to magically transform the process of cracking eggs as others suggested it may, so don’t be disappointed if it doesn’t gift you with magical egg-cracking abilities. It’s simply something to set on your counter to crack eggs with and contains the mess exactly as advertised. It’s easy to clean and gives eggs that perfect crack every time. No more broken shells in my recipes π I’m surprised that something so simple was so hard to find. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Β I have always been one who loves to cook but Iβm messy. I saw this little cooking tool and gave it a try. No more mess all over my stove and no more egg shells in my pan. Itβs GREAT!!!!

It a beautiful spoon rest as well as an egg cracker . It cracks the shell almost in half. Takes a little practice to find out how hard to hit the egg to the ridge. Once you do, a perfect crack every time. Itβs held up in the dishwasher as well. The bit plus is that you get 3 in a package. I was going to share the other 2. But Iβm using them

We crack a lot of eggs in our house, and sad to say, more often than not, I end up with shells in the eggs, or I break the yolk when we need it whole.I’ve tried all manner of techniques to get it right, and even when I do get a good break with the handle of a knife, or the edge of a pot, I end up making a mess.This little tool works perfectly. I get a great crack every time. It contains any mess to the tool itself, and this thing is very easy to clean. Sometimes I put a square of paper towl over the breaking edge to make it even easier to clean up, but that isn’t necessary.My only gripe is that this is expensive for what it is. Luckily it also doubles as a spoon holder, which I also needed.
