If some of the OP order the correct one, they’d get what they ordered, I did! Using it for a bacon press in a small fry pan as well as a smasher on the grill. This is 6.5″, not 6″ as advertised fwiw. The other thing I noticed was A BUNCH OF PEOPLE complaining about rust. Seriously folks?!? It’s cast iron for chris-sake!Just like a cast iron pan it needs to be rinsed with “hot” water only, dried off/out, and then seasoned. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, look it up and save face from being a moron like the others. If you have too, use mild soap and nothing abrasive like steel wool or scrub pads. HOT water, then dry with a paper towel, warm grill or stove top / oven for 10 minutes to dry it out before seasoning. If you take care of it you can pass it down to grand kids and great grand kids. Enjoy!

I am a collector of vintage cast iron that I clean up, and maintain. This NEW burger smasher is simply amazing. The handle is sturdy, and the cast iron is high quality. If you want to get a patty, be it ground beef, sausage for breakfast, or even flatten your bacon, this is the smasher to get.

This is perfect for grilled cheese sandwiches and easier to clean then the bottom of the frying pan I was using.

Love the fact that it keeps my bacon flat when i cook it on the griddle outside 🙂

This press is HUGE. The ridges on the face make it a little difficult to clean, but still, it is an awesome press. I would absolutely buy again.
