I purchased this knife because I was told none of my existing knives were long enough or in some other way not right for carving a turkey. I didn’t think it seemed sharp enough when I received it but prior to Thanksgiving and the turkey test I carved a beef roast with it and it did a fine job. So I am going to try it this Thanksgiving and see how it does.

Like most who “research” before making the purchase, I was looking for the best bang for the buck. I believe that I found that and more. The packaging and presentation are impressive. The knife itself is forged, well balanced and razor sharp. The first thing I noticed I noticed when I picked it up was how comfortable and natural I was able to use a pinch grip to hold it. The bolster is ergonomically shaped perfectly for this. Details like that are so well thought out make a huge difference in how easy it is to use.. My first thing to slice was the breast meat of a turkey. Every slice ended up with skin still attached and the meat was sliced smooth . It made for a beautiful presentation on the platter. I can hardly wait to slice my next brisket. I could not find any flaw in the fit and finish of this knife. This knife is worth every dollar and more. Looking forward to my next purchase.
