Works well with 2 passes on coarse, 1 pass on fine, and 2 passes on polish. Nice because it isn’t super aggressive, as some knife sharpeners. To keep sharp in-between I use a few passes on a knife strop. You could always pay more (but why) but this should last a bunch of years. Addendum: I have sharpened ( kitchen knives including 3 serrated; It does a nice job with one exception (probably due to some safety related thing, I’m sure…) the sharpener will only start at about 3/4″ from the handle, so judge accordingly.

I had another electric knife sharpener that did not sharpen, even after 12 passes thru the slots. This YOORLEAY just needed 4 passes thru the slots and the knifes are very sharp. Very pleased and highly recommend this product.

It was shipped on time. I started using sharping all my dull knives. The sharpener works great and it was easy to use. Now it is not a fuss chopping vegetables. I love it.

This seems well built and does a half decent job sharpening. However it won’t sharpen for approximately 3/4” from the handle of the knife. Wile wis may not be a issue with kitchen knives, I like to use it to sharpen my pocket knife. The blade is only 3” so loosing the first 3/4” is an issue.

First thing I notced was how light it was. Then, it doesnt have a cord attached it uses a cellphone charger like power supply. When i tried to sharpen a knife, i found that the grinding wheels don’t line up with the knife slots so it effectively ony sharpen one side of the knife.That was all i needed , I sent it back.

It’s obvious that it can’t sharpen right from the handle of the knife. But I found it useless for all my small utility knives, they are 3.5-4″. Also, the blade must be straight. Added photos if anyone is interested in what’s inside.
