Wanted to love this, as I’m an avid cook, who uses pepper in a ton of dishes. However, a few things keep me from being able to recommend it.First, the capacity is small. If you enjoy going through a process to refill pepper corns, well, this may not bug you as much, but I prefer to refill the grinder only infrequently. The capacity of this grinder is pretty slim, what you can imagine a grown man can hold in his hand is about it.It’s not easy to refill when it runs out, which is reasonably frequently. Again, we use a lot of pepper on pretty much everything from veggies to steaks to eggs. Refilling this thing is more frequent than you’d expect given the size of the device. It clogs – recently, although I’m not sure if the end just got wet or what, the amount of pepper coming out is just miniscule and to be honest, I tried to unclog it or whatever, changing the size/coarseness, getting a knife to dig out bits that may be stuck, etc, but eventually I just went back to our manual grinder (OXO good grips pepper grinder which we LOVED but were hoping to enjoy some easy grinding from an electric version). So basically, the capacity is low, it’s not really easy to refill, and we’re encountering some clogging issues – none of which are true for more manual grinders like the Oxo good grips pepper grinder which I can recommend wholeheartedly.I wanted to love this thing. We use pepper all the time. But at the end of the day, I can’t recommend it, and we’ll likely go back to the 100% reliable manual pepper grinder we’ve been using for years.

I ordered 3 different kinds of pepper grinders from amazon and this was the best of the 3 until it broke about 1.2 years after i purchased it. For those interested the bottom plastic cover broke and fell out as i have seen in similar negative reviews on amazon. I contacted their support and received a quick reply telling me that it would be 10 dollars to replace if out of warranty (1 year). I sent the amazon receipt and a short video of the problem and they replaced it free of charge. The grinder runs smoothly and the motor seems to grind without any pauses like the other grinders i tried. It has a light if you like to eat in the dark? Or perhaps for candle light dinners? All in all a great grinder with a design flaw perhaps, and lifetime warranty is good..

I purchased the Epare copper color electric pepper mill/grinder nearly 1-1/2 years ago (Apr ’21). It has worked perfectly for me. I’ve only had to change the batteries once. I have filled the peppercorns in full 3 times. I use the grinder daily, but admittedly I live alone. For me, it has worked flawlessly.I was stunned to come here to submit a review and see a bubble of 1-star reviews, breaking from the otherwise positive, linear review ratings given for this grinder.Yes, the grinder is pretty tall and bulky. At first this was a small hurdle to get used to. After a few months, I no longer notice any issue. I now appreciate that I can move it toward the back of my counter out of the way (instead of up front) and easily reach it to pull it out. Also, in the beginning I frequently picked it up and started grinding and forgot to take off the rubber cap from the bottom, resulting in a nice pile of ground pepper being captured in the rubber cap. Simple enough to realize pepper was not coming out, to remove the cap, shake out the ground pepper, and put the cap back on. I have mostly learned from “muscle memory” now to not leave the rubber cap on, although once in a long while I still do it. Very minor issue, not a fault of the grinder.I have recommended this grinder to friends and relatives, and none of them have reported back to me any issues with theirs. Still one of the best value purchases I’ve ever made on Amazon over more than two decades and nearly 100k in purchases for both my personal and business use.

I have had one of these for two yrs. Found it to be a little tricky at first to open and fill but is actually quite simple. Had worked well up to just over a week ago ,was very happy with it. It just simply broke at the top of the pepper container.I contacted them , they asked for description of what happened and a picture. Sent them the info and received a msg next day that a replacement was on the way.I received it today. Hoping it last a little longer but at least they stand behind it.a little addition to this. I received the replacement and immediately filled it. The first time my wife used it the hole thing dropped out of the top cover. I checked it and it seemed to fit very loosely . I checked it more closely and noticed the marks on the grinder and the top cover didn’t line up. was about to contact the seller when I decided to try to force it. I had to turn it with a lot of force and it latched. Just a heads up, you may think you can’t turn it any farther but if the marks don’t line up it isn’t latched . Hope this helps someone.

We like the product so far. The reduction in stars was due to the fact that we had to switch the bottom part with the other one.We were able to get the first one on and when we went to put the second one on it would not fit.We took the other one off and it fit the second one.Luckily the second one fit the first one so it worked out for us.

I really like these grinders and they are easy to use. The first one I purchased 2 years ago self-destructed moments ago. While using it, the bottom fell out and several large pieces of plastic came out all over my foodBut I still like them, so I ordered a replacement.

I love this grinder! I got a pair to use for salt and pepper and have been nothing but pleased with the product. It looks stylish out on my counter and feels high-end! I also love how you can adjust how fine or course you want your ingredient to be.
