Easy to Use, Cuts Really Well, Choice of Blades Very Useful. Used it to cube bread for 100 servings of stuffing for a Church dinner, which it made short work of, as well as carving 7 turkeys for the same dinner. It’s only shortcoming showed up when carving the turkeys – the handle became quite slippery and I had to wipe it off frequently. Could use some checkering or other patterning on the handle to improve gripping ability.

At this point inahve used it 4 times. Twice for two full turkeys and twice for two full hams.And for that rare occasion is it perfect. I have a slew of regular knives for the every day stuff, but when i need that roast beast to be like butter, i pull this out.Makes all things buter

I made the decision to return as soon as I pulled it out of the box. It is very large. Too large for my hands to grasp and operate. It may function perfectly – I just didn’t get that far.

You need to hold the safety switch forward with your thumb while activating the on switch. With the weight and having to hold both buttons simultaneously, it was VERY difficult for me. Took me forever to slice a prime rib in to steaks because I had to keep stopping and resting

I have owned an electric knife 10+ years. This Elite Gourmet cordless, battery carving knife is a wonderful appliance. It is user friendly. The inserting of the blades is a learning process. The blades oscillate at high rpm. The knife cuts effortlessly. I love this Elite Gourmet knife because it is cordless. It is well made.
