I love using this scale to keep track of my snakes’ and geckos’ weights. It’s easy to use, works with all of my animals (from 8 grams all the way up to 1750 grams!), and a breeze to sterilize in-between animals/uses.The simple button controls make it easy for anyone to use, while the backlit display means even in darker areas you can still see what your weight is.I do wish that you were able to see the display a little more easily from the side angles as it doesn’t show weights very visibly unless you look at it head on, but aside from that this scale is one of the staples of my reptile room that is used multiple times a week to make sure everyone is healthy and thriving.

Love the scale, it works great. However, the plastic tray or dish that comes with it is useless. I squeezed some bitter oranges into and walked away and when I came back 20 minutes later, the orange juice had eaten into the plastic, permanently damaging the plastic and making it unusable! Don’t out citrus juice in the dish!!! Now I just use parchment paper to weigh things on.

I thought i never needed a sacale. Now i use it all the time for my sourdough bread esp. Very useful and zeroes out with whatever container you weigh with. But i use the pladtic bowl it came with mostly.
