Easy to clean. Perfect for when you just want to make a salad for one or two people. Great for spinach, iceberg, any greens you need to wash and rinse. If you are like me and want to soak your greens a couple of times to make sure they are clean I have found the basket fits perfect in my 4 cup glass measuring cup. I set it in fill with water and let my greens soak swirl them even empty and do it again . It is easy to lift out of the 4 cup glass measuring bowl and I spin them dry. You could hold it under the facuet and run water thru it with just one hand on the bowl. I am a small women yet I can hold the bottom bowl in one hand and turn the spinner handle on the top with the other. I eat more salads and greens it has cut down my prep time I can store it in the cabinet with my dishes so it is easy to get.”EDIT”I gave the above review on the quality and the price I paid I have now changed my rating based on the 55.99 I purchased this In May 2019 for 11.99. Just a few months later it is now $55.99? A 44.00 dollarincrease. It is not worth 55.99 go look at the now larger selections of small spinners. This IS the SAME COMPANY I purchased from.”EDIT” This is great move forward! The company has once again adjusted its price! BIG improvement from the unbelievable increase of 55.99 from the original 11.99. Still not the price I orginally paid but allowing for some inflation. it is now a more equitable purchase for those who are looking for 1 to 2 person salads. I continue to use mine and it is in like new condition.

As someone who prepares meals for myself only, and eats a salad on most days, this small salad spinner is perfect for me! I love not just the size, but also how easy it is to clean and store it. It couldn’t be more effective at pulling out the water and leaving me nicely dried, crisp lettuce! I simply place my torn Romaine lettuce pieces into the strainer, spray some veggie cleaner on and toss by hand for a minute or so. I grab the strainer out and run cold water over the lettuce, while tossing, to rinse. I shake off any excessive water drips, and from there I can just place the strainer back in the bowl and put the cover on. I give the handle a few spins in each direction, a couple of times (the handle is a good size and comfortable to grip, even with arthritic, extra-small hands). It always amazes me to see how much water this little guy pulls out, too! I lift out the strainer and dump the clean, dry lettuce onto my plate — super easy! Then, all I do to clean it is put a drop of dish soap in the hole of the cover along with a little warm water, put my thumb over the hole and shake it really well. I don’t know why I have never owned a salad spinner before this, but I am sure glad I found this. I’ve been using it almost every day for about 3 months and I feel like it’s sturdy enough to hold up for years to come. In my opinion, this is a great buy!

The spinning mechanism is funky & the entire contraption does not spin well, just so-so. You would think ‘they’ could make a great salad spinner in a small size in 2022 … au contraire.

I’ve been looking for a while for a small salad spinner and this fits the bill perfectly. It’s just large enough to accommodate greens for a single salad (a side salad or a modest entree one); I’ve also used it for fruit and herbs. I agree with other critiques that the spin handle could be better-designed with regard to ergonomics, and also that it is rather overpriced. However, I wasn’t been able to find what I needed in stores, so I’m happy to have gotten this.

I bought 3 of these one for me, my daughter, and a girl friend. They have all thanks me a number of time of the girt. A perfect small size for a handfull of fresh greens and storages them in the refrigerator without taking up a lot of extra space.

This is my second salad spinner, it is impossible to spin. ? Would never buy again. Firs use today, way past the 30 day return. My first one works great, not this one ..
