   It’s almost magic how this works so well. It cuts under the metal lid and leaves a smooth edge so you don’t have to worry as much about cutting yourself on the metal. I got this as a gift for my Ma who has arthritis and can’t bend her fingers to use a conventional can opener. The size is just perfect for her hand – only need to use one hand to operate. Just press the button and it will take off like a rocket and cut a perfectly SMOOTH cut around the lid. No worries about accidentally cutting yourself on the rough edge of the lid. You do need to provide 2 AA batteries. Easy to slide off the back cover to put in batteries. Then just place on lid, press button and watch it go. There’s no need to hold it in place and at the end, the magnet means you can easily lift off the smoothly cut lid. Very pleased with the form and functionality of this must have gadget.

   This works differently than what you might be used to. Instead of vertically cutting into the inside top of the can lid, it cuts horizontally to cut off the entire can top, ridge and all. It does a good job, easy to use one handed (actually you only have to push the button to start it, then it fihishes the whole opening sequence and shuts itself off).

   It took me a few seconds to figure out how it works but it was simple enough. The blade is sharp and it cuts around the side of the can so there are not sharp edges at all! Now I won’t be struggling with a hand can opener anymore 🙂

   Easy to use. Insert 2 AA batteries, place on can and then hit start button. Its does tge magic then. Cool to watch it cut. Cuts can evenly as seen in picture. Great product. Highly recommended.

   Sleek design, not bulky at all. It only uses 2 batteries while my pervious one uses 4! Very easy to use, just a press of a button, and then there’s a little magnet that holds the opened cap as well!
