I like this product…but I think I’d like it more if 2 wires didn’t break right away. I THINK I figured it out for the last wire, but it still doesn’t feel that great. Yes, I was slicing soft cheeses, so that wasn’t the issue. Now I’m thinking I need to have a handful of replacement wires on hand!

Overall I’m very happy with this purchase. I can say it cuts all different kinds of cheeses. Whether soft or hard. And it’s excellent if you just wanna thin slice of cheese! But I am disappointed with the manufacturer. Out of the three stainless steel wires we were sent. Two were completely broken! That was very disappointing.

Slicer works great just need to take your time. The wire isn’t sturdy enough to make quick slices and it takes a little while to get the hang of making even slices but it works well for cutting two lb blocks of cheese.

I love the marble slab and the idea that you could put it in the fridge or freezer before usage. It makes it easier to handle the cheese longer. I wish it was wider for the bigger blocks of cheese (about 3×3-Costco size) as it’s not possible to cut completely in 1 swipe. Also it only comes with ONE replacement (see pics). Not that you can’t buy replacements, but a little disappointing when it’s advertised multiple times that there are 2 replacements. All-in-all, I like it, but room for improvement.

The description says it comes with two replacement wires but it has only one. That’s my only complaint about this great cheese slicer.
