   I make a lot of pico de gallo (lots of diced onions, tomatoes, etc.).I was getting tired of dicing the tomatoes by hand and wondered if the was a ‘dicer’ available. Yes, there ARE commercial dicers available at commercial prices. No thanks.I saw an ad for something like this product so did some research and settled on this one. I just got it and thought “Ok, let’s give it a shot”.My review may not be 100% complete as I only used the small dicer but here goes:I had read about these slicer/dicers and most people were disappointed when it came to tomatoes. They did not realize that no device like this could dice BUT if you cut your tomato/onion FIRST into 1/4″-1/2″ slices THEN use this device you will find out very quickly that this will deliver beautiful dices. The secret is the pre-slicing. I put the first tomato slice (2) into the slicing area and thought “Here goes”. I firmly “smacked” the lid (not too hard or you will break it), and cautiously looked in the bin. What gorgeous diced tomato!!! I quickly did 7 more tomatoes (pre-sliced) and then did the same with a few onions! Great pico de gallo!I heartily recommend this device for dicing tomatoes/onions/etc. The secret being the pre-slicing! Do that and this device will deliver great dices.I haven’t tried the other blades but will update this when I do.

   I have a small kitchen with limited space so I have to be choosy about what comes into my kitchen. After several weeks of thinking about this, I finally purchased and I have loved it. I haven’t even used all the attachments yet, mostly the small and large choppers, and they save me a lot of prep time at dinner. I love onions and add them to so many dishes, but they make my eyes water like crazy. They don’t water near as much with this handy dandy tool. We’ve chopped onions, zucchini, peppers, cherry tomatoes, garlic, and more with it. My kids love that they can help too, and I’d rather them use this than a big knife sometimes. It IS super sharp, and both my son and I got a small cut on the finger (we weren’t being careful and we learned our lesson – it hasn’t happened again). It isn’t bad to clean, you just have to be a little careful with where you’re touching it. Most the parts I can take apart and put in the dishwasher. The little brush is helpful if something gets stuck. This has definitely earned a spot in my kitchen and it gets used multiple times a week.

   I haven’t used all of the attachments for the chopper yet but I have used the 2 that dice and LOVE them! The chopper is easy to lock the correct blade in, it sits on top of a container to catch all of your vegetables. There is no mess with food escaping the chopper. It comes with cleaning tools that make it simple to clean the blades. I diced carrots, radishes, onions, broccoli and cauliflower with the chopper. What usually takes me at least an hour took just a few minutes. I’m very impressed so far and would highly recommend this chopper.

   I have a lot of kitchen cabinets and counter space but this was still just too big for my taste so I sent it back. Looks like it would be quite efficient for someone who doesn’t mind the size but I think I’ll just settle for cutting and dicing by hand on a cutting board.

   Very useful to chop up everything. I have even used it for vegetables. It has many ways to use it, the product looks/is very strong overall.

   Works as advertised. Don’t bother cleaning by hand because it’s too time consuming. Rinse and throw it in the dishwasher top rack. Blades are incredibly sharp! Be careful.

   Listen please. Some reviews almost caused me to lose out on this nice gadget. Just opened it up, washed in hot soapy water (so that moisture evaporated after a good shake) and loaded it up to make a beautiful salsa. Each dice nicely separated. I watched the handy You Tube video FIRST! It was quick. Nice tip on getting cilantro to go through with a slice of onion. Cleanup was a breeze because hardly nothing got caught in it. So I’m wondering why so many complaints? The gadget does all except get up and do it all for you. It certainly did best chopping tomatoes for days. Oh oh! Put the tomato halves in the gadget SKIN SIDE SO YOU ARE LOOKING DOWN AT THE SHINY PART! Smooth cut with no mash. Perfect dice. Garlic? When you peel it cut it twice and it won’t be so chunky. Happy customer here!! I recommend it! But don’t use it until you have the time to read or watch to learn about it first. Happy Cooking! 🙂
