I had one of those little kitchen scales,but my problem was when I would need to slowly add a little bit at a time to reach a specific weight; ie sugar. Now, I know it’s accurate because when I add even the slightest amount, the reading increases.

This is a perfect little scale for smaller amounts. It weighs grams and ounces perfectly and is very easy to use. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize it only weighs up to 500 grams and so was unable to use it for weighing baking ingredients like flour, etc

I used this scale in my home brewing process. I needed something accurate and repeatable enough to weigh very small and precise quantities of Hops. This does the job superbly!Also, when I need to occasionally weigh an ingredient greater than 500g/1-lb, I simply split it into 2 or more measurements, for example, a one 1-lb quantity and a .5lb quantity to get to 1.5lbs. Bought this after a previous scale was not accurate enough to weight jewelry. The level of precision beyond 0.1 ounces is exactly what we needed, and it was easy to use right out of the box.

Ive had this a couple years and it still works for me. I needed a kitchen scale with high resolution for weighing hops for small batch brewing and this has worked perfect for my needs. Although I didn’t do any fancy statistical type test for accuracy and precision I checked known weights of items like coins and it was spot on and repeatable. I can’t say if you were measuring goldnid trust it without having some calibration standards on hand, but it seems like it would work good.
