I’m a huge fan of the design. My previous scissors were either a fixed pivot point or a threaded nut and bolt. This pair of scissors come apart when the blades are spread apart to their max. When closed, the scissors have a tight fit and won’t fall open under its own weight, but doesn’t take much effort to open and close. It’s got a bunch of extra features that may be nice under a pinch, but if I need to peel something, I’ll reach for a peeler rather than these scissors.

These are great. Super sharp, and most importantly they come apart so they can be sterilized. I am shocked at the scissors being advertised as kitchen scissors but they don’t come apart. These -you can cut up chicken and then take them apart and completely clean them. Love them!

The two pieces come apart for easy and thorough cleaning. Unlike normal scissors, the two blade parts come apart very easily for cleaning. Then they can be put back together also easily. They are pretty heavy duty, and I haven’t had any problems cutting through stuff in the kitchen.
