Very functional and great for all types of utensils.This is a solid spoon rest for the kitchen. It is very durable, functional and thecolor stands out to match any decor. I primarily use it on or near the stove topwhen cooking. However, it looks very nice on the dinner table when serving largepotluck type meals.I think it is a bit small in size to be able to accommodate several spoons at once.Maybe offer a slightly larger size about 6-7 inches in diameter (this one is just 5in dia.)Overall, a beautiful ceramic finish and a great kitchen helper.

I have at least eight spoon/utensil rests (plastic, metal, and silicone) in different sizes and shapes, but none like this. Each of them have a purpose which they’re better suited for, so I need them all. This is my first “mostly “ round one, but it also caught my eye because it’s described as being for stove use. So far, I’ve had no problems with the smaller utensils ( like the orange spoon) that balance nicely, but the larger/longer utensils may or may not work as well, depending on how they’re designed and how the weight is distributed. When you look at the pictures, take note of the shadows of the handles. Where there is a space between the shadow and the handle, the utensils remained up off the counter, but when the shadow was touching the handle, the utensil had tipped onto the counter and would, therefore, come in contact with the stovetop. However, I’ve discovered that this lovely stoneware dish is already the most beautiful and versatile “spoon rest “ since I’ve used it as a coaster and a snack dish. Finally, the smooth finish makes cleanup a breeze!

I like the finish on this spoon rest, makes it look a little bit fancy – a bit more fancy than using a paper towel or other random object in the area. Feels like it can withstand a fair amount of life events except maybe dropping. Easy to clean – just pop into dishwasher.Recommended if you need a dedicated spot to put utensils while cooking

This is a spoon holder! This holds spoons, but can also hold the spoon’s friends! It prevents making messes on your countertops. It’s very solidly crafted and made of glazed ceramic clay. There is a fine glossy rim that raises the elegance of this item. There is a small 1 inch divot to place the handle of the utensils. The only caveat is that the dish is fairly short, which means that more lengthy utensils may overshoot the dish entirely, depending on the center of balance. Spoon rest is simple in design and easy to clean. Has been in use for almost a month and seems to be well made and sturdy. I cook often and typically have multiple pots going on the stove. For that reason I love that it is spacious enough to hold multiple cooking utensils!
