   Bought this for my wife and me to use when entertaining. Works as intended melts chocolate and then keeps it melted without burning the bottom. If you only have this out on a dessert table you’re going to be disappointed with the size of the metal tin it comes with, its perfect for parties of 2-4 people but anything over that and you’re going to be needing to be filling it with chocolate pretty often. My wife and I definitely recommend it!

   I bought this as a birthday gift for my mom, though it would make a great Mother’s day gift as well. It melt the chocolate nicely but it does take a few minutes. I would say it’s something that you pour and start melting chocolate while you prepare the sides (while cutting strawberry or banana) or even as you wait for your guests. Does not create hot chocolate but it wasn’t cold either. We very much enjoyed using it and I think she will get a good amount of fun out of it as well. Also great for kids to have chocolate dipped marshmallow in!!

   Love this little set. Used on new years eve and it was a hit. I used the meltable 2lb bag of chocolate you can get at Bed bath and beyond or craft stores. You just have to stir alot as its melting but once its melted you turn down the heat and forget about it. I had bought another one that used an open flame before this and returned it because it was way too high maintenance and burned my chocolate.

   The media could not be loaded.  I love this product! I used Ghirardelli Milk chocolate chips while using the high heat setting and it melted the chocolate perfectly! The warmer bowl fits an entire normal size baking chocolate chip bag. The warm setting kept the chocolate the perfect consistency for about 4 hours not to mention cleanup was a breeze

   Excellent product. After reading reviews I was a bit concerned about the chocolate not melting but it worked just fine! Turned the dial to ‘melt’, poured a few chocolate wafers and within minutes it was ready to dip! Very easy to clean too!

   I finally used my product for the first time and was very disappointed. I had to melt everything in a pot on the stove because the heating plate set to melt only gets mildly warm. The bowl isn’t deep enough to make enough contact with the heating unit. The unit seemed bubbled as though it’s defective. Pressing the bowl down onto it would heat the bowl but using it correctly it didn’t melt it held mild heat to keep chocolate slightly melted. Definitely doesn’t work for cheese sauce.
