It pains me to give this product 5-stars only because I wish the price will never rise. This should be a staple in the home of anyone who enjoys baking. I like things that are cute, but I’ll drop the need for a design that makes me happy over the function of these gloves. It’s not possible to burn yourself with them on unless you are being clumsy or contact a hot surface with your arms, face, etc.The gloves can handle normal baking temperatures. I wouldn’t dare ruin them on something they aren’t meant for. In terms of what could be better, I wish it had a more precise grip and had an interior that was easier to keep clean.

I bought these oven mitts for my husband who does all of the cooking and baking. The large size are plenty big and they are long so your arms are protected.

they don’t get all icky from spills and food. the inside has quilted batting and the entire outside is silicone. my old ones were fabric and silicone and they got stained and the quilted cotton shredded. These will not do that!

I bought a pair to handle a hot turkey and large roasting pan. They worked great. In past years I would burn my hands touching sides of oven trying to handle the large pan but with these mittens I didn’t have to worry about that.
