It’s a very nice piece of kitchen equipment. The real down side is there is no place to store the second probe. It’s too delicate to put in a household kitchen utensil junk drawer (especially like mine) and it’s too small to warrant it’s private real estate lot. My solution, though not ideal, is to use a velcro wire tie and secured it to the body of the device. Now I can at least find the thing when I want it. It dose make it a little ackward to use the device as a stand alone. But, then again if you’re holding it that long, well reconsider and 86 the meat and re-fire a new one. You’ll be better off in the long run!

Does exactly what the description claims but it won’t automatically invert the display when “upside down”. Therefore it’s kinda awkward when you insert the probe only to realize it expected you to use it in your other hand or w/e, requiring you to tilt your head or rotate the device. Which is inconvenient when you’re trying to take a quick reading in the middle of making an important meal. Poor design limitation.

This is a very good product. It seems to be very accurate and easy to read. I have not tried the external sensor probe as of yet, but it looks like it should do the trick. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

This is thermometer helped cook a turkey to perfection. It was the juiciest turkey ever!!!!

Only thing I didn’t like was that the backlight on this shuts off like after 5 seconds, but for the price I have no complaints.
