You might have noticed the cookies pictured by other customers look different than what the cutout offers. This is only because gingerbread cookies need to be 1/4 of an inch tall. When removing it from the counter, as a dough, it looks a little smaller.Also, Keep in mind these are cookies! Not to big for decorating.

Right size. Not too small or large. Easy to decorate. Used 2-3 M & M down the center of his shirt, that will give you better idea of size. Not an expert, but you can do simple decorations. You can decorate upsidedown, which will look like deer. See my pictures. My son wasn’t interested in gingerbread, but liked them when I cut molasses down to 1/2, and sprinkled with sugar & cinnamon. You can backe on cinnamon & sugar, like you do with snicker doodles.

Packaging is terrible, it came bent. Was able to reshape it without breaking it, however. I would have returned it for another but the way they pack this gave me no assurance that the next one would have been better. Would have given 5 stars otherwise.

I don’t bake so I didn’t have any cookie cutters and Amazon never fails. I like that the gingerbread man cutter was bigger than 4” so my 6 yr old can add more detail rather than trying to fit eyes and nose, etc to something smaller. We had fun using.
