Ramen noodles cook quickly so itβs crucial to extract them from boiling water when theyβre done. This makes it quick & easy to remove them all at the same time.

Arrived next day, as promised. Fair price, solid construction, and it does exactly what itβs supposed to. What more can you ask?

Good basket, but the edge that holds onto the pot is sharp so be aware of that when handing

The title pretty much says it all. It’s just the right size and mesh to get veggies out of the water before they cook longer than I want.

It is well made and perfect to hang on a large pot to cook small veggies (like peas) in without having to chase them around the pot to get them all out.I gave 4 stars for ease of cleaning only because all strainers are a pain to clean.I would absolutely reccomend this item.

If you are one who loves making noodles at home then this is something that can help you in cooking noodles with out making a mess of the pot.

Now that I am working at home. I eat a lot of frozen ramen and udon. I got this as an easy way to cook some rather than free floating in the pot. I figured I could take the noodles throw them in this basket and just cook them in the water. Then pull out the basket out and quickly have noodles rather than scooping them out with tongs. The idea was great but the execution was wrong. This thing is massive! It won’t fit into a regular sized pot. I have attached a picture of it in a 2 quart pot. It’s still too big for our 5 quart pot. I’ve used it sideways and kind of works but not the way I expected it. This is for a noodle serving for at least 4 people! I’ll have to keep looking for a single serving basket.

We don’t deep fry food very frequently but when we do we are very thankful to have this product. The main reason I choose and would recommend this product is because the handle is wooden so it doesn’t absorb or conduct heat as fast as other tools, making it perfect for working with hot oil or other hot liquids.I just wish they also made the same exact product but with a longer handle so that it can be used for deeper pots when frying in larger quantities but for the average home cook this is a perfect product.
