These scissors’ cool factor kind of overextends their usefulness. Indeed it does shave down prep time for cutting/ slicing vegetables significantly, but only if you use it right. You cannot overload the mouth with, for instance, 3 green onion stalks simultaneously; it will jam and can be painfully difficult to get the jaws to complete the cut without straining your hand (sure, this isn’t a problem if you’re only prepping a small volume of veggies, but it quickly becomes a painful nuisance when you’re doing a week’s worth of meal prep in advance..). So I do want to forewarn this device can cause hand fatigue quite easily—I couldn’t, for that reason, recommend to anybody elderly or whom suffers arthritis, fibromyalgia, etc. Do not overload it: I’ve found that 2 green onion stalks at a time is the max, and when it comes to cucumbers, they definitely need to be quartered lengthwise, and placed with the skin side resting on the bottom blade jaw (so its wet wedge facing upward to the top blade jaw) and then the scissors will slice’em up, no problem. You just have to figure out the learning curve with this device. If you overload it, it will be hard to cut with, and even if you’re successful forcing it through a large bite, some of the slices will inevitably end sprayed up on the underside of your nearby cabinet from the release of tension once the blades complete the cut. Overloading also necessitates frequent combing of the blades with the end of the included green scissor sheath which can be annoying due to having to constantly shift between vegetables and the comb—once again, slowing down your productivity. As a vegan who does not eat out and prepares all his meals at home, I do like these herb scissors but will admit it took me some time to get accustomed to them. Now that I’ve developed a better sensitivity for how they are best used, I like them more, but they’re still annoying here and there. Nevertheless, they will speed up prep, so I do recommend them, with the disclaimer of not expecting a scissor superhero (like I did when I first ordered them lol). If you’re a low- to medium-volume home user, I think they will serve you well. If you’re a sous chef in a restuarant with higher-volume needs, do not but these; they will just piss you off immensely lol, and your culinary skills, coupled with a high-quality blade, will be a much better selection for you. The urge for an impulse buy due to super unique product appearance is strong in this one, but all that glitters is certainly not gold…

A bit tough to clean but if u rinse as soon as you are done using them, it is much easier.. the perfect solution to chopping herbs, (a task I never cared for before, now I donβt mind at all)Thank you

I didn’t realize how much this time would save and how much I would like using. Cutting up mint leaves, basil, parsley in salads and dishes. so easy to clip and comes out in small, nice slivers. The multiple blades on scissors can be cleaned out using the provided plastic comb or dish brush, either way, not difficult to clean out.

The shears are quick and easy to use, clean easily. Definitely better than using a knife and safer.

I have not used these shears yet. But I can already see that I will like them.

These work really well. They started rusting within 2 weeks and are very hard to clean.
