I love a straw. Seriously. Makes me drink so much more water! So I was happy to find these. They are pretty large, so they make great smoothie straws and clean-up is a breeze (hated previous reusable straws that I never felt like could really get clean!). The sides of them are thick and sturdy. The only downside is that they are too large to fit in some lids (for example, they don’t fit in a YETI mag-slider style lid). So just check to make sure they will fit your favorite drink ware!

Would have given 5 stars if they had arrived non broken, but unfortunately two straws arrived damaged. Return was easy (thanks whole foods) and Amazon quickly shipped new ones.I buy these rather than steel as you can see whether they are clean or not!Plastic is not healthy so appreciate that glass is available! Be careful when you clean them tho, as they are glass!

These straws are made well but are not quite what I want. At about 10″, they seem a little long for everyday use, so be sure to measure the drinking glass you’ll likely be using so you know the length you need, which I didn’t do. They’re also a little larger in circumference than I visualized, probably because the glass is thick; then again, I certainly wouldn’t want thin glass – so that feature is a toss! Also, these straws would absolutely be best if you drink liquids with acid in them; lemonade and such. I do, too, but in those cases drink directly from whatever is holding the liquid and not use a straw. In short, I’ve decided that a hard plastic straw is adequate for me and, most importantly, will absolutely be replacing throwaway straws that are getting into our oceans and killing our marine life! I hope everyone gives serious consideration to that last issue.

Surprised by the quality. It is made of true borosilicate glass. They fell on the floor many times, but never broke. Finally a quality product like those which lasted a life time when I was growing up. I miss that time of less consumption, less waist and materialism, allowing humans to focus on the essentials of life.

I like these straws over paper and plastic for sustainability and eco reasons. They are made of a highly durable glass & have not had one break on me yet. Easy to clean by hand or put into the dish washer. My toddler loves to use them as well!

It’s dishwasher safe but not really a good idea of you want it clean. The inside will still need to be cleaned while the outside is clean. Unless you have a place in the dishwasher for states where the water can get inside it’s not recommended to put in dishwasher. It’s nice for smoothies. One broke but it’s fine. I’ll use them once in awhile. Easy to clean by hand with stage cleaner they provided.
