These seem well-made and work well. But they’re bigger than expected (fatter at the widest points), so didn’t fit in the little table-top basket I use for salt/pepper mills. I’d prefer a style with straight sides, not curved, so that they look more modern; couldn’t tell the widest diameter of these mills. That’s not the end of the world, but one mill arrived with some damage (a dented top), so I returned them. Too bad. Despite some reservations, I would have kept them if undamaged, as these are sold by a small business and I like to support small businesses.

Aesthetically pleasing to look at. The glass is thick and the stainless steel is not flimsy. I do not like taking the cap off to use but I also prefer to keep it on because then it gives it a different look. Perhaps a lid that slides over? IDK That’s on me. I would purchase again.

When my purchase arrived, one of the grinders had a hairline crack in the glass. I contacted the manufacture via email later that evening. The next morning, I already had a response to let me know a replacement was on its way. The very next day my replacement arrived. Now that’s service after the sale! BTW, the salt and pepper grinders are awesome 🙂

These replace a salt & pepper grinder set I bought at Meijer 3 years ago.They are HUGE, and grind salt & pepper – today. Instructions are provided to field strip these for cleaning, which should take care of any possible malfunction issues down the road. My “old” S&P setup was epoxied together & could not be salvaged. So much for their “lifetime guarantee”. Hopefully I won’t have to buy another set. Seriously – why should something this simple wear out, or “cease to be”?Five Stars today – who knows what 3 years will bring. Not a pro cook, just looking for something that functions EVERY TIME. Hoping for the best.
