I like this peel quite a bit. I was disappointed when the wooden knob cracked. It was easy enough to glue back together though.

I like that it folds for better storage but its not the best when using it when making pizza. I have to hold it with both hands for extra sturdiness or my pizza will end up on the floor. I was going to return it but never got around to doing it. I guess I just liked the fact that it made storing easier.

I chose this from the countless options available because it had one of the largest working surfaces compared to most options available, and I almost exclusively make large-sized pizzas on the pellet grill for my family, so I needed the extra surface area. Both the wood and the aluminum have a nice finish, and it is sufficiently sturdy to support the weight of any pizza that would fit on it. The ability to fold it is also crucial to being able to store it effectively, since it would be quite long and unwieldy if it did not. My only criticism is the design of the handle- primarily the girth. I have fairly large hands, but even I find that the thickness of the handle and the squared-off edges make it somewhat uncomfortable to use. I have considered rounding off the edges with my router to both soften the contours and remove excess material in order to make it a bit more manageable to hold, but I have yet to do so. Overall, for the price, I don’t feel like I have much room to complain. I would definitely buy again.

I have a precious little daughter with short little arms and tiny little hands. And she would always use two spatulas to get frozen pizzas out of the oven. And in the process she would nearly always burn herself. This pizza peel has resolved that issue. It is just an amazing piece of a kitchen equipment. I highly highly recommend it.

This peel is great! I was skeptical at first regarding the stiffness. Made 6 x 14inch fully loaded pizzas and it works great! Also, the folding action is great for storage!
