Works like it should – pretty straightforward operation, cut your lemon in half NOT pole to pole, place in the bottom cup cut side down, lower the handle and squeeze out the juice – easy squeezy. IMMEDIATELY wash the squeezer by hand with soap and warm water or the acidic lemon (or lime) juice WILL start to erode the paint, dry and hang it up! That simple.Couple things to note – it does completely eliminate seeds so be aware of that (I pluck out the exposed seeds with a knife or kitchen tweezers), and for me I’d prefer the hanger/hinge fit a little tighter to take out some of the sloppy fitment. Other than those issues which really aren’t deal breakers this is a nice little kitchen tool to hang or store in the kitchen tool drawer.Can you live without this? Absolutely you can – but when making up bloody marys or cocktails for you and your pals it is a cool tool to have at your bar.

My wife uses it and likes it very much. It is a little awkward to put it in the dishwasher I found out. Can’t close it, have to leave it open and it is long. Small sacrifice for a sturdy ‘buy it 1 time’ utensil.
