The first thing I used this dude on were chili cheese dogs with extra onions. I roasted 2 franks in the oven at 400 Faren height for about 20 min. Five minutes later I put two hashbrowns into a 400 Faren height air frier until golden brown (about 15 min). On the plate go the hashbrowns, then buns then frank then mustard. I heated chili in the microwave for 1 min and spooned it over the franks. Topped the hot chili with shredded cheddar and nuked it for about 40 seconds (long enough to get gooey), and then I torched it, and just as it was ready to change colors, I added chopped onion with celery salt, white and black pepper and a last secret spice, Aci Pul-Bibber, or Kirmizi Pepper, also called “Kimzi Biber” (try to get the kind imported from Turkey). After adding the onions out comes the torch again to finish off the color and still leave the onions crunchy and the cheese the perfect color, or if you want to leave the onions totally fresh, torch the cheese to your liking first. Give the hotdogs one final sprinkle of the Turkish spice before eating. The torch worked like a charm. Hot dogs sitting on top of air fried hashbrown patties out of the freezer a crazy crunch after the hashbrowns cooked about 15 min but eat it fast! Chili can get things soggy!

Works great on toasted marshmallow topping for my sweet potatoes. No longer have to turn on oven and worry about burning.

Good safety features. Easy to use and hold. We had trouble with the butane and had a question about which nozzle to use and their customer service was quick to respond that no nozzle was needed with the butane. Also recommended by customer service was a good tutorial about this torch on YouTube that showed how to load and use!

I purchased this for my kitchen but I love it for isi g on my resin projects. It is a little too heavy but it does come with a base that you can sit it in which helps.

The torch works reliably, however there are a few issues I have.1) The gas knob has no safety lock, so it can be releasing butane if it is moved out of the off position accidentally. That is unlikely to happen under normal usage, but it is still a possibility.2) The directions could be clearer. To fill, the plastic base must be removed. It has a tiny hole in it that is too small for the butane nozzle to properly fit, so that is very misleading. The base comes off and goes right back on very easily though.3) There was no silicone mat included as was advertised. Same for any reference to a downloadable recipe book. Nothing I would really care about anyway, but the product description should be updated.4) I have no clue how/if the fuel gage works. Again, directions are quite unclear. The control range on the flame is fairly limited but you can get the flame down around 50% without going out.I returned another brand torch because it would dump butane during use when you tipped it (like to flame crΓ¨me brΓ»lΓ©e). This does not have that problem. Sure, watching a fireball flareup can be fun, but not when it’s scorching your dessert. So this torch is a keeper as it does not have this safety issue. So, don’t let my negative comments deter you from buying it. It is, overall, safe and it performs as expected.

Product arrived as described. The startup instructions were easy to follow. Adding butane was easy. Simple to get working and easy to adjust flame. Really happy with my purchase

I had a problem with the first one and they immediately sent a replacement. Just be careful when you fill it with butane. It fills quickly and will spray your hand if you continue to force it.
