I was a little worried when I got this scale as it looks more delicate than my previous kitchen scale (that died after 6+ years). But itβs held up quite well so far despite the not-so-careful use itβs been through. Itβs lived through many milk spills, various powders being spilled on it, and being used as a platform for objects beyond its capacity. It even survived the Powdered Sugar Sifting Static Electricity Event of Fondantpalooza 2022 – it did turn off suddenly, and wouldnβt turn back on via touchscreen, but after I reset it later by taking the batteries out/putting them back in, it was back to normal! I imagine it has some sort of protective mechanism that shut it down, though I really wouldnβt try it on purpose & I’ll be more cautious next time I sift ingredients on the scale.I find it responsive enough for making pourover coffee, and Iβve used the stopwatch feature a few times (though usually I want to count down). Love the 10ths of a gram. I wish the silicone mat stayed in place better, but it is easy to toss it in the dishwasher or rinse it under the faucet when it gets dirty. The touchscreen wipes easily and the design does keep most messes from getting near the important parts which occasionally need more detailed attention to clean. The bottom has sat in a spill for awhile without the battery compartment being compromised (again, not a thing Iβd do on purpose, but Iβve got a 10yr old).Itβs small enough to stash out of the way when needed but big enough to be easily readable with a medium mixing bowl on top.Tare function works well. Itβs easy to change units. Kinda wish there was a lbs option in addition to oz but really boo to imperial measurements anyway/letβs go metric. ML is sorta silly since itβs the same as grams & assumes youβre measuring water.Overall, Iβm quite pleased with this scale. It looks nice and functions well plus itβs tough enough for everyday use.

This scale is fantastic for someone looking to get a coffee scale with an integrated timer, that also wonβt break the bank. The build quality is comparable to the price – cheaper plastic build thatβs not super βpolishedβ in finish. Itβll get the job done, and is my daily driver, but the build quality could be a little better imo. All in all – decent scale and Iβd recommend it for the price.

I really like the timer. Once it’s on, the scale won’t turn off. Finally! So many other brands have aggressive auto-shut offs, as if the battery is going to die mid-measurement. Yeah right. The display on this scale is also illuminated, and I have kept it on for hours. I understand that there is a quarter-second delay on measuring grams, and I guess people are pretty quick at topping things off where it can potentially seem slow if you are in an incredible hurry. For coffee pours, it’s absolutely fine. You’ll be 2-3 minutes on deck anyways.

I discovered AeroPress and I got tired of using my Apple watch to time the steps when using a scale without a timer. Now I actually find I will use this and make a good cup of coffee routinely. I also have taken to using it to measure out the proper weight of beans for my espresso machine. No waste. Nothing left in the grinder so I can easily swap settings for a new grind without digging out left over beans. I can even switch brands of beans when I want. I know I don’t need a special scale to do this, but the fact is the convenience of this scale actually has me doing it in real life.

This inexpensive scale is easy to use, has a nice small footprint but easy to read LCD display. It seems to be quite accurate although I can’t verify that other than to say that the coffee and water I use it to weigh produce consistent results. Very nice unit, especially for the price.

Accuracy rated at 3 because I don’t know how accurate it really is but it otherwise makes a fine kitchen scale, especially for coffee geeks who need to weigh everything.

I use my KitchenTour scale every day for my coffee preparation. It’s quick to turn on, accurate, and weighs in 0.1 gram increments. It works for pour over or just measuring out beans. There is a little lag but you get used to it.

Well thought out product. The mat is easy to clean. This really seems like the perfect coffee scale.
