I bought my first salt and pepper grinder last year. I’d always wanted a set for functionality and appearance but could never justify spending the money when I had a perfectly good disposable set. I love the look of this set and decided to purchase it. After about a year, my husband and I noticed that the pepper grinder’s grinding mechanism had broken (and not reparable) so we weren’t able to use it any longer. The salt grinder looked so sad and lost being alone! I reached out to the store representatives and I want to commend the owners and representatives of superior customer service! My email was replied to in less than 24 hours (in spite of the fact the company is located in Germany and on an entirely different time zone!) The representative I communicated with was so personable, understanding and professional! I received a replacement set within 5 days!I am so appreciative and my salt grinder is happy again! Thank you!

***Revised***Sent pictures to the supplier and then sent a replacement. Customer service will always count. Used to be a 1 star review. The grinder is not perfect, but price and service, 4⭐ it is.***Original***Bought in end of June, it’s now beginning of November and I’m down to 1. Seems as if pepper corns are too strong for this grinder.

Actually I prefer the battery operated ones, but after 3 or 4 months, one of them stops working. After ordering 3 or 4 sets, I decided to get the do it yourselfers. Not as convenient but they always work

This is a great salt and pepper set. I really like fresh ground pepper, but I’m not crazy about buying a new grinder bottle every time I run out of pepper. It just seems wasteful. I had a wooden grinder for pepper for years but I never felt I could get it clean. This glass set can be washed, and you can tell that it’s clean. And my doctor tells me there are minerals in Himalayan salt, so there’s a reason to upgrade from ordinary Morton’s. I’d really like to buy a couple of spare bottles if there’s a way to manage that
