The smartest way to use this product is to grind your peppercorns or other seeds without removing the snap-on lid:(1)Fill this product with peppercorns or other seeds.(2)Turn this product upside down without removing the snap-on lid.(3)Grind for up to 1 minute.(4)Turn this product rightside up and remove the snap-on lid with your fingernails.(5)A huge quantity of ground black pepper powder or other seed powder will be stored at the top.(6)Aim the ground black pepper powder or other seed powder on to your specific culinary targets without spilling any of the powder particles over unwanted places, as would happen if you did the grinding without the snap-on lid attached.

I bought this pepper grinder because the one I had wasn’t grinding pepper fine enough. I was getting huge chunks of peppercorn which is not a pleasant way to consume pepper! This grinder grinds the pepper finely and is easy to use.

This adjustable pepper grinder works great. We were readily able to find a setting that’s perfect for us and it consistently produces that grind. I read several reviews that the grinder is slow, requiring too many turns for the quantity of ground pepper produced but we do not find this to be the case.

Good for grinding dried garlic into powder. Four stars instead of five because it squeaks a bit when grinding.

Love it works GREAT… I love fresh ground pepper; I have some fresh pepper from Madagascar and this grinder is ideal for grinding the pepper (using sharp metal blades vs plastic).

It is a little awkward to remove the cap after grinding the pepper, but it is nice to not have it go all over everywhere.
