I purchased these to replace our dull, old shears that are on our fridge via it’s magnetic case. I thought these were the same. But the case isn’t magnetic, so going to return. Maybe it was my mistake, so giving 4 stars still. I searched for magnetic scissors and these came up.

Overall I like this product, but I bought it specifically for cutting chicken bones, and it’s not great for that. I feed my dog raw chicken feet and need to cut the bones up first. These scissors cut through the toes pretty well, but I have to hack up the rest of the foot with a butcher knife before they can cut through the remainder. In case you’re wondering, they cut through meat very well.

I am always cutting chicken wings using a knife. It would dull my blade and had to be sharpened after each time I used it. I have arthritis in my hands so I stared paying more money for the pre-cut wings. What a life saver! These cut through the bones without any effort. I was able to cut 24 wings in 10 minutes! I highly recommend these scissors and would not hesitate to buy them again!
