The can opener is of a classic design made of heavy gauge metal and a rubber type handle for comfort and to prevent slippage in hand. It moves around the can smoothly and grips can as it opens top.I bought this to replace a much cheaper made brand and like the extra padding on handles and I believe this on will last longer. I also have found this brand to have a slightly better quality overall than others I have tried in the past .

I like this can opener. I have bought way too many over the past few years, after the can opener we had for 20 years broke. There were probably 5 can openers that broke in the past 3 years before we got this one. We have had this one quite a while now and use it regularly. It is easy to hold, and using it is a dream compared to the other manual ones we had…and it feels just as good today as it did when we got it. Do not hesitate to buy this one!

This is perfect. I wish I had bought a couple of them while they were on sale. The size and weight to it told me right away that this was the best choice. The ease of operation was the next “pro” to this purchase. Kitchaid is a reputable brand but the cost compared to others is what made me hesitant. Luckily the black Friday sale brought it down to $8.00 so I grabbed it. Definitely going to purchase another to throw in my camping gear.

The angelic choir surely has one of these to open their canned goods in the Here After. The crank turns with the smoothness of a psalm and the blade slices through steel like guilt through a penitent man. And the creamy handle matches the clouds.Great for green beans and stuff, though I don’t know if they have tuna fish in heaven. They might all be vegan there.

purchased in Jan 2021, turn handle popped off this morning. it was easy to use until it started rusting. it isn’t bad for what it is, just don’t expect it to last like your mom’s can opener from the 80’s that she still has and still works.

I have gone through 4 can openers this month, they just stop working, but this has solved my problems. It may be pricey for a can opener, but you will not regret it! I will never buy another can opener until the day I die. This one is it for me.

Works great! I replaced an old one that was starting to strip out after like a decade with one from the dollar store that hardly worked. Kept forgetting to get a new one so when I got this it was like opening cans in heaven!

Very easy to clean. We open dog food, so that is very important. We wash it, then into the dish washer it goes. I was especially happy with the price.
