I’ve been using two of the black, 17 x 38 mats on a 70+ year old, hardwood kitchen floor for a little over a month at the time of this review. One is in front of the kitchen sink, and the other in front of a cutting table.WHAT I LIKE:- They give relief and feel good on legs, feet, and ankles when standing for an extended period.- Their beveled edges don’t catch, and foot shufflers (like myself) slide over the edges an onto the mat.- They stay in place and don’t “wander” during use.- They catch inevitable sink water spills and cutting board escapees.- They’re easy to clean and air-dry quickly.- They look good (to my eye) β they’re unobtrusive but a step above “just plain.”- They arrived rolled up but flattened completely after a day or two of use.Whay I Don’t Know:- How well they’ll last over an extended period.- How they’ll stand up to strong cleaning chemicals (e.g. bleach, peroxide, alcohol, or ammonia.)These mats seem like “keepers,” and the best item I’ve bought on Amazon in a while. I might even try the larger sizes in an institutional setting, since institutional kitchens typically clean mats separately when they scrub the floors.~ fwh

*** updateβ¦I was contacted by the company to give them advice on what I would do differently and how the product could be made better!!! They are going to forward my info to the manufacturing side & make changes!!! Pretty amazing! What more could you ask for!!! Very great company- and I will try again towards the end of the year.*** old review belowI purchased this mat for the kitchen, hoping to help my back and feet while working at the sink. It looks fine and cleans up fine, but it doesnβt do a whole lot to minimize the pain of standing on tile for a long time. I actually looked up this order to make sure I order something different & not the same one. No biggie, but I did want to mention this π hope it helps.

I purchased this for the floor of my pantry. Apparently I have butter fingers and if itβs a glass container it breaks when it hits my tile floor. My last break was a bottle of Soy sauce, what an unbelievable mess. since I put this mat in Iβm no longer breaking. Not what itβs intended for but works beautifully for my purposes. Nice color and well made. Considering purchasing more and actually use them for their intended purchase!

This slips on my laminate floor as people walk on it. I have had another kind from Costco and you have to pick the whole mat up to move, not the case with this one. A drawback since the kitchen in my house is a busy place. It is very easy to wipe off though and doesnβt have a sticky feel to it at all.

I received these a few days before Thanksgiving so theyβve gotten a workout already. My daughter-in-law has these in her kitchen and when I stepped on one I said βooooo!β and ordered them that day. Iβm so happy to have them, my feet donβt hurt, my back doesnβt hurt and Iβm way less tired after spending hours in the kitchen. Thanks!

Using in kitchen in secondary position. Got gauged and haven’t any idea how in the first week. I don’t know who’s to blame – the manufacturer or my friend’s little cat while I wasn’t watching, but it’s like a tiger scratched it deeply and displaced much of the material, the rubber. Bummed us out.

I use in the kitchen in front of the sink. Easy to wipe off when it gets wet. I like it.

Glad we got a smaller one as our one cat is getting the most use out of it. The material readily gives way to claws, so while chunks of it started coming out on Day One, her rip-ups may be less annoying because it’s all black. It’s comfortable for bare feet.
