I got tired of wasting so much foil in my oven cooking. These seemed like a good reusable alternative.They are indeed nice in many ways. They are bigger than my cookie sheets but flexible enough to slope up at the edges and keep juices from spilling out. It’s easy to get fish or Chicken Kiev or french bread pizza off them. They roll up for storage, with some chips bags clips pinching them shut.The only downside is that my sink is fairly small so even if empty I can’t lay these flat enough to scrub and it’s difficult to fully rinse them. They’re too floppy to go in the dishwasher (I’m considering layering them between baking racks, but haven’t tested this yet). And once I have painstakingly wrestled them into something like a clean state, rolling them up needs to be done in such a way that the underside doesn’t touch anything because the rolling process will press the underside to the top and transfer any dirt or germs.Still, it’s nice not to be wadding up several sheets of used foil a week.

My sister got me one of these, which served me well for a few years until we got a little careless cutting pizza without removing it from the mat. I promptly got the 3-piece set as a replacement.The 16.5″ x 11 5/8″ “half sheet” nicely covers an oven baking sheet, while the 11.5″ x 8.5″ “quarter sheet” fits in my toaster.The sheets are non-toxic, non-stick, and easy to clean with soap, water, and a swipe of a sponge. They are, as you might expect, very floppy, so you’ll definitely want something more solid underneath. But they’ll protect your baking sheets and make clean-up a snap.I’m not sure why a previous reviewer thought these were only good up to 400F, but mine clearly say they’re good up to 480F and down to -40F. So they’re both freezer- and oven-safe.

I no longer have to use parchment paper or nonstick spray on my baking pans. These are good quality and everything bakes more evenly.

Its so nice to wash the mat and re-use it. I do a lot of cooking in my toaster oven as it uses less energy than my oven. Now I don’t have to use a new sheet of aluminum foil every time I heat up pizza or tater tots or etc.

To be honest, I bought them so I could play with learning how to pipe out macarons, but have been using them for my Christmas cookie baking. They are indeed easy to clean, and are working out great. I’m very happy with my purchase. And I will try making macacrons, sometime, maybe after Christmas?
