I have many digital thermometers but what I really wanted was a thermometer that I donβt have to fuss with, one that I can just glance at to read. So I bought this. The glass that protects the numbers seem sound and the clip, which I may have to fidget and adjust, will just do. I doesnβt feel cheap but only time will tell. I used this just once before I wrote this review. I needed a thermometer to help me keep a temperature steady for 15 minutes. I was happy with the results of my chili oil with the use of this thermometer.

I purchased this inexpensive thermometer, and the one I received didn’t work. I contacted the company via Amazon, and it sent me another that works perfectly. Every company should have such superb customer service!

I use it in my Dutch oven for deep frying. The 12 inch length keep tipping out of pan even when I use the attached clip. Is a shorter version of this same thermometer available? I really like the dial and attached clip an the movable marker on the dial.

I love this! I clip this product to the side of my Dutch oven for frying, and it works great! It stays in place well and is very accurate. Quick to respond to temperature changes as well! I don’t often deep fry, but last time I did this thermometer made it much easier to maintain temperatures!
