Used primarily for taking internal temperature for baking bread. Compared to the much more expensive basic Thermapen which served me well, this product is totally satisfactory and the smaller size convenient. Review not based on performance over time.I had the Thermapen for many years with great performance and excellent technical and customer support

I have used crappy electric thermometers for years, but I still use them a lot to be sure of steak temps in the restaurant that I work at. This thermometer seems to be the best I’ve used after 6 months in the kitchen. I’m definitely not the only person that uses it either. It is fast and accurate. Best of all, it actually turns on when you need it. Buying another today.

Itβs simple, easy to read and use. When you pull the probe out the Javelin turns on and begins reading temperature, when you close the probe it shuts off. The housing is modern, feels well built and durable. Product registration was fast and simple, instructions come with the device.

Works great for me. Iβve only had it for a couple days now, so I canβt attest to the accuracy fall of after a period of time as mentioned by other reviewers. I made two 7 LB slabs of pulled pork and they came out amazing. Monitor or nice and sharp, the screen doesnβt fog up, and it folds up nice and compact. No complaints

I have been wanting a meat thermometer for years not sure why I waited so long but I’m glad I did because I think I found the best one… This thermometer is so compact when you open it it is on when you close it it is off I tested my water and I was scared to see the temperature of our homewater over a 140οΎ and at that point it probably was even higher… This is going to be my go to meat thermometer from here on… If you do a lot of cooking , you must get this… Very reasonably priced.. Is great as a stocking stuffer for all the cooks out there…
