I bought it basically to make hot chips and just had to find the proper blade to do what I needed to do was the only problem I had with it and that was my fault not the machine’s, you can do a lot with this machine from what I see as there are 3 different blade settings and haven’t used them all as of yet but it’s a nice machine and I feel worth the money.

There was nothing I disliked. I ues it to prep all my fresh veggies. Love the perfect slice. Very even cuts. Little storage space needed, plus I have osteoarthritis and I have no problem using it. Great time saver. No power needed love to save money anyway I can.

The device is works OK, but the insertion and removal of the spiral blade for cleaning is tricky. The manual gives WRONG information about this and there is no way to contact Vekaya Customer Service. A number of folks have asked questions about this and Vekaya has not provided any assistance.To remove the spiral blade when knob is in the OUT position, you lift it up- NOT “pull it out.”To insert it, you must have the knob and Spiral Blade in the position of the photo.The problem is that the knob and the Spiral Blade can turn independently when removed. They must be in the position shown in the photo. Insert the tip at the end of the Spiral Blade into the hole in the side and lower the Spiral Blade into the mandoline body
