Yes, it is not the same quality as the LEM and comparable stuffers. However, if you make sure the pin is in that locks the cylinder down and lightly oil the rubber plunger and cylinder walls, it works great. The stuffer works effortlessly and does not require much force to run. Easily do 10lb batches with no issues. You get what you pay for. Take care of it. If the hand crank is hard to run, make sure the pin is in and the plunger has a touch of oil on it. If youβre still concerned, get longer bolts, and laminate a piece of plywood underneath to strengthen it.

I had been making sausage through a tube attachment on my grinder. This process was slow and unpleasant especially for larger sausages like bratwurst. I had been looking a dedicated sausage maker for some time, but times being what they are money is tight. After looking and reading reviews this one seemed big enough to meet my needs, was affordable, and had decent reviews so I got it. My first impression was that the build quality was very good the chamber was heavy gauged stainless steel, all of the gears and crank are solidly built, and the machine works smoothly. I then processed 20 or so pounds of bratwurst with natural casings through it and I was extremely impressed with how well this machine worked. The machine continued to make sausage and push at an even rate until there was just under 1/8 of a pound of meat left in the device including the tube (weighed it after clean out {then cooked it uncased]) so I am satisfied with the efficiency. Due to learning curve there are a few gotchas however. If you go to fast it will build up sufficient pressure to leak sausage out behind the plunger, but that issue can be resolved by moderating your speed (it is still cranking out sausage very quickly without over turning). Also it would have been nice to have a brush or squeegee included for cleaning out the tubes when you are done. I am very satisfied with the device over all and look forward to trying some of the included sausage recipes, using it through deer season, and having a good machine at a reasonable price for some years to come.

Does what itβs supposed to do. Suction is good but it will twist as you are using it. Other than that it works perfectly.

I have been looking for a small reasonably priced sausage stuffer for several months without success. This stuffer perfectly fits the bill and it works great. All of the attachments fit inside the meat chamber and store in the box that it came in. I was skeptical of the clamps holding to my counter, but they worked fine and held tight through several pounds of sausage and multiple refills of the meat chamber. Clean up was a breeze, though I will have to get some small bottle brushes to clean the tubes. I am worried that the clear rubber/silicone washer that goes between the tube and the meat chamber will be easily lost. It once shifted and was wedged about halfway into the tube and another time it slipped through and was on the outside of the tube. This didnβt seem to impact the function at all. The stuffing process was smooth and easy. The handle does not have any kind of quick release and so to remove or reload the chamber the piston must be manually backed out by turning the handle several times. However since it is a small capacity stuffer this wasnβt too much of an issue. All in all this sausage stuffer worked great!

This product is a money grab, nothing else. Anybody giving over 1 star is working for the company. This thing is ridiculously hard to use, I am a decently strong man that works manual labor every day and it was extremely hard for me to turn the handle. There is nothing that comes with it to clean the piping tubes out either, which is crazy. As much meat squeezes out between the ram and the tube as comes out of the piping, it took me 3hrs to make about 18 regular sized links…. I had to load up the tube and then put the rest back in the freezer to chill it way back down cause by the time it was piped it was already coming back up in temp. I mean I thought i was doing something wrong, so I check everything multiple times and this is how it is supposed to work apparently. I bent the handle trying to pipe throughly ground meat that was mixed with rusk and a jug of beef stock to lube it all up. The tube is easy to clean but no way to clean the pipes with what came with it, I guess you just let the meat dry up in the pipes and it will fall out later or something. Do not buy this, dont think to yourself that I’m just not strong and you can turn the handle easy…. no, that’s not the case. I am strong, I bent the handle and was exerting enough force that meat was squeezing out between the ram and the tube. This product was hastily made to try and funnel off money from the home sausage making industry, that is my honest person opinion and review of the product. And the clamps that came with it to hold it down are a joke, they are to small to fit on anything and even if they did they wouldnt have helped anything lol. I have pushed trucks that was easy to push than that handle…. those clamps would have gave me false hope that it was gonna stay firmly mounted in one spot, and that’s all they would have gave me. I would have snapped them or slipped those clamps off that thing like a pancake slips on a non stick pan that is sprayed with pan. Those clamps shouldnt even be in the box, like a way to clean the piping was not in the box. So ya, I was holding the tube while trying to turn the handle. And you cant just keep adding liquid to your meat untill it’s the consistancy of aujus gravy, cause they will explode when you go to cook them if they are like 70% liquid. Which is what got them the nickname BANGERS and mash, the sausages were exploding from the liquid content being to high. When water evaporates it expandes its size like 5000%, so making water sausage so it will pipe correctly is not the answer either. The only answer is do better research and buy a viable product, I think I’ve covered anything and everything that needs covering. If you buy it, you shouldnt have done that.More : so while I was cleaning it I noticed that I had actually buckled the frame of the thing aswell, so while I was bending the handle trying to push meat hard enough to come out of the tube I was exerting so much force on the meat with the ram that something had to give, the frame of the thing gave and bent downwards. So ya, I decided to just go ahead and add some pics of it before I send it back for a refund. Which they are willing to take it back and give a refund, so that is 1 thing I’m pretty surprised about but awfully happy about. So now you can see the frame is buckled on both sides, and the handle is bent outwards. Also you can not turn the handle without it hanging off the edge of something, so I went ahead and showed that aswell. Honestly setting up some sort of a geared ratcheting system with a longer more durable handle (like a ratchet) would be a way way way better system than this dumb crap is. I honestly cant see why I bought it, other than inexperience I guess. So anyways, hopfully this helps somebody that is looking to have a good time making sausage… cause you wont find it here, keep looking, for a geared piping system. GEARED should be in your search criteria.
